I am really excited about a new service I am using called CrossLoop! It's free and it allows me to help you with your computer problems no matter where I am in the world.
CrossLoop enables me to see the screen and control the mouse and keyboard on your computer just like I was sitting there at your desk. It is as if you and I are working side by side at the same PC. It is a powerful productivity tool that enables you and I to quickly collaborate no matter where either one of us is physically located in the world.
CrossLoop is powered by the proprietary CrossLoop VIP Tunnel, a secure peer-to-peer data transmission system. CrossLoop encrypts all files and messages exchanged on their network to ensure your privacy and my privacy.
Only you and I can view or share control of your computer. A CrossLoop session can only begin on your computer by explicitly inviting me to begin a session. I do not have unlimited access to your computer. All data sent over the CrossLoop network is encrypted at the endpoints using a 128-bit Blowfish encryption.
In other words, if you have a computer problem that needs some professional help, using CrossLoop I am able to actually share your screen and keyboard with you and work on your computer as if I was sitting in the chair right in front of it! It's really cool and very very secure.
I've been testing CrossLoop's service with some of my clients for several months and feel very good about it.
